30 km from Crucoli to Perticaro, deeper inland. It is a steady, gentle up and down among fields and olive groves, with sheer cliffs in the distance. On the way you reach Umbriatico, on a rock you enter by its viaduct. Its Cattedrale di San Donato has a Romanesque wooden ceiling, a brick with Oscan writing and a crypt where, legend says, the Templars met. Then you go on to Perticaro.
