33 km from Crotone to Rocca di Neto. Before you leave, see the Castello di Carlo V and the Museo Archeologico Nazionale, home of the Treasure of Hera. The first kilometres out of the city are on asphalt; if you want to skip them, urban bus 8 or 9 drops you close to the trail. Then country paths through Mediterranean scrub follow the Neto river on its last stretch to the Ionian, up to the village on the heights north of the river.
