You start on the Lungomare Europa in Soverato, under the big town sign, and walk about 2 km of palms and oleanders before the beach. From the Calaghena village a hard climb on asphalt and dirt leads to an old mule track, almost to the top of Monte La Rosa, with the whole Gulf of Squillace below you. A short detour on the left reaches the stele of Sant'Antonio da Padova. A steep path then drops into Petrizzi, ending in Piazza Regina Elena by its black poplar and the old menzalora grain measure. About 13 km.
