20 km from Mesoraca to Sersale. Climb Monte Forcone for views over Crotone and Catanzaro, then walk through the chestnuts of Monte Giove to the Manulata wildlife oasis, all beech and pine. From the pine wood at Donaglie a track heads to the Valli Cupe reserve, and just before Sersale you meet the giant chestnuts of Cavallopoli and the Petra aggiallu megalith.
